With the Band by Natasha Preston

With the Band was my first book by Natasha Preston. I found it to be very well written and enjoyable.

The main characters Texas and Kitt represents to opposites - a young man with dreams and directions in life vs. a young woman lacking dreams and direction. The first one shows us that it's important not to loose sight of other things in life, while the second takes us on a journey of self discovery and growing pains.

I do find that Texas goes off the deep end and I would have liked to see a different direction for her but that's just me. I also find the book a little long winded but I will still recommend it to others.
